Flowers of the Forest

The Society was saddened to learn of the death of long-time member Jim Gellatly on June 20, 2001. A native of Hamilton, Scotland, he had resided in Jacksonville of the past 10 years coming from Wilmington, NC. He served in the British Army during the Malaysian Campaign, was a Professional Engineer retired from Brown & Root Engineering in Houston, TX. He is survived by his wife Jennie Gellatly; two sons, Douglas Gellatly of Jacksonville and Andrew (Sara) Gellatly of Houston, TX; one granddaughter Jordan Gellatly of Houston; one brother Tom Gellatly of Anacortes, WA; one sister Margaret Heddle of Tasmania, Australia, and several nieces and nephews. The St. Andrew's Society has made a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of Jim. Our sympathies go out to the entire family.
